Getting Started

Sign up with your email and a password. This becomes the account that controls every child profile, assignment, and blocking rule in your family — kids never sign up on their own.

From the dashboard, add a child with their name, age, and an avatar. Rally creates a profile with its own coin balance and generates a PIN your child uses to sign in to their own kids portal — no email address needed.

Install the Rally extension on the Chrome or Edge browser your child actually uses — including a school-issued Chromebook or laptop, since it needs no admin rights to run. Generate a link code from the child's profile and enter it in the extension to pair the device.

For blocking that extends beyond the browser — game clients, streaming apps, and other software on your child's device — install the Rally app from the Gears tab on their profile. It blocks apps directly on the device, so there's no router or network setup required.

Create your first assignment — a chore, reading session, or homework block — with a coin reward. Once your child submits it and you approve, coins land in their balance immediately and they can spend them on the sites and apps you've configured.
