Terms of Service

The terms that govern use of the Rally web dashboard, kids portal, browser extension, and mobile app.

Last updated July 6, 2026

Acceptance of Terms

By creating a Rally account or using the Rally web dashboard, kids portal, browser extension, or mobile app (together, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Who Can Use Rally

Rally accounts are created by a parent or legal guardian who is at least 18 years old. Child profiles are created and controlled by that parent — a child does not independently register for or agree to these terms. The parent is responsible for the accuracy of information entered for each child profile and for supervising how the Service is used in their household.

What Rally Does

Rally helps parents manage after-school screen time and track learning activity through:

  • A browser extension that blocks or allows sites according to rules a parent configures.
  • Session tracking that logs domain-level browsing and study time.
  • A coins/assignments system where kids earn coins for completed activities and spend them on screen time.

Rally's blocking only applies where its extension or companion apps are active. It cannot enforce rules on devices or networks outside a parent's control, and it cannot block content while a school's own device-management policy is in effect.

Subscriptions & Billing

Rally offers a free Basic plan and an optional paid Premium plan. Premium is billed on a recurring basis through the Apple App Store or Google Play and is subject to their respective billing, refund, and cancellation terms. You can cancel a subscription at any time from your App Store or Google Play account settings; access to Premium features continues until the end of the current billing period.

Acceptable Use

  • Use Rally only for lawful, personal, non-commercial family use.
  • Don't attempt to circumvent, disable, or reverse-engineer Rally's blocking or coin systems.
  • Don't use the Service to monitor or manage anyone other than your own children under your parental authority.
  • Don't misuse the extension link codes, kid PINs, or device tokens issued to your family account.

No Guarantee of Complete Blocking

Rally reduces access to unapproved sites and apps but cannot guarantee that every device, network, or piece of content will be blocked. Determined users may find ways around browser- or network-level filtering. Rally is a tool to support parental supervision, not a substitute for it.

Account Termination

You may close your account at any time from account settings, which removes your family's data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the Service or other users.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rally is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including content a child accesses or fails to be blocked from accessing.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as Rally adds features or as legal requirements change. If we make a material change, we'll notify parents in the dashboard or by email before it takes effect.
